arlone was most active in Austria where he specialized in fresco decorations. He gradually transformed his style from late Baroque into an elegant Rococo from, as is seen in this composition. This particular altarpiece was once part of the world famous Esterhazy Collection in Hungary . Interestingly, the frame once housed the famous masterpiece, ãThe Birth of Bacchusä by Guilio Romano, currently in the J. Paul Getty Museum in California .
