Overall Prerequisites Summary

To be considered for admission to the UIWSOM Master of Biomedical Sciences Program, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree, specific prerequisites, and GRE or MCAT scores (or other pre-professional exam as appropriate).  Please refer to the information indicated below and within the subsequent pages for specific requirements.

Bachelor’s Degree

Completion of bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent verification in the case of international degrees prior to matriculation into the program.  Applicants must have official transcripts submitted directly to the UIW MBS program.

Prerequisite College Courses

Prerequisite coursework must be taken from an accredited college or university.  Prerequisites must be completed with a grade of “C” or better.  A minimum cumulative science and cumulative undergraduate grade point average of 3.0 on 4.0 scale must be achieved.
