M.A.A. – Adult Education

Prepares you for human resources positions within a variety of organizational settings and for administrative positions within the field of Adult Education.

To fulfill the requirements for this degree, you must complete the following:
18 semester hours of core coursework to include: 

• Accounting Concepts and Issues
• Organizational Behavior and Learning
• Organizational Research and Assessment
• Human Resource Management
• Managing Organizations
• Strategic Planning

15 semester hours of coursework constituting the concentration, to include:

• Adult Learning and Development
• Program Development in Adult Education
• Effective Teams and Groups
• Practicum in Adult Learning Environments
• An Elective 

 

3 semester hour CAPSTONE which integrates and culminates the program of study
