Information literacy training is available for undergraduate, graduate and professional students. Our librarians will work collaboratively with faculty to teach students how to use library resources effectively. They can provide in-class instruction or conduct one-on-one sessions to introduce students to the library’s resources. They also can help you design assignments to teach students the most effective research skills.
To schedule a tour or to invite library staff to an orientation, please contact the Library’s Reference Desk at 210-829-3835 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Please allow at least 5 days advance notice.
Electronic document delivery is available for faculty. The library staff will make a copy of an article or a small section of a physical book (less than 10% of the entire book) within the collection upon request. Request the article or book chapter using our interlibrary loan service (ILLiad). Within 24 hours of the request, the copy will be sent to you via email.
Faculty are encouraged to submit requests for books, journals, AV materials and databases. Please contact your department’s Subject Liaison Librarians to recommend materials for library purchase.
