UIW Library Facilities and Policies

The Mabee Library is a located in the center of the University of the Incarnate Word main campus.   The first and second floors house the collections, service desks, technology for student and library users, study and research areas, as well as lounge spaces.  The building is wifi-enabled and provides charging stations for mobile devices.  Mabee Library’s basement is inaccessible to the public and houses various offices of the Information Resources Division.

Mabee Library is a busy place that offers different kinds of learning and study spaces.  Group Study Rooms are available to students on a first-come, first-served basis.  These popular collaborative learning spaces are in high demand.  It’s a good idea to plan ahead for their use during high-peak times.

Health Sciences Libraries are also available to students and faculty and can be found on the campuses for these programs.
