  • AAO E-Book Collection
    Collection of online ophthalmic titles from the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) that includes full text, visuals, and data tables.

  • VisionCite
    Journal article index produced by the Illinois College of Optometry with more than 318,000 bibliographic citations extracted from 114 journal titles in vision science and related areas covering the time period 1984 – present. Use in conjunction with PubMed for a comprehensive search of published literature on a topic.

  • Visionet 
    Produced by the Southern College of Optometry, and is similar in scope to VisionCite database. It indexes articles published in 123 journals from 1975 to present. To start searching this database, type a keyword in the search window and select “Visionet Articles” from the drop-down menu. Limit search to articles to avoid retrieving citations to other type of materials besides articles.

    Collection of databases containing systematic review abstracts, technology assessments, economic evaluations, and individual clinical trials.

  • Dissertations & Theses Global
    Provides citations to dissertation and theses from around the world from 1743 to present, full text for most dissertations added since 1997 and selected full text for works written prior to 1997.

  • Draw It To Know It (DITKI)

    Hands-on, self-directed neuroanatomy learning resources for students that complements lecture-focused teaching. Initial, one-time user registration is required before accessing this resource.

  • Health Reference Center - Academic (Texshare)
    Multi-source database providing access to full-text of nursing and allied health journals.

  • MEDLINE (EBSCO) (Texshare)

    Information on medicine, nursing, and other health-related fields. Uses MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) indexing.

  • MedlinePlus

    Produced by the National Library of Medicine. Provides information about diseases, conditions, and wellness issues for the general public.

  • PubMed
    Database of biomedical journal citations and abstracts created by the U.S. National Library of Medicine. Includes all MEDLINE content plus additional citations to out-of-scope articles, some pre-MEDLINE content, and more.

  • Science Direct Health and Life Sciences Collection
    Contains peer-reviewed journals in health and life sciences covering areas such as biology, nursing, pharmacology, veterinary medicine, immunology, biochemistry and more.

  • STAT!Ref
    Online library of electronic resources, including medical titles with evidence-based resources. Can be accessed by only a limited number of users at a time.

  • Web of Science Core CollectionProvides bibliographic and citation information for articles, proceedings, papers, reviews and more across a range of disciplines in the sciences, social sciences, arts and humanities.
