At the end of August, the help desk moved to its new location at the Student Engagement Center (SEC). It now has an updated name: HelpDesk@SEC.
Making the move were the Help Desk Manager, Christina Phillips, and Jacob Ramirez, Assistant Help Desk Manager. Along with a staff of eight student workers, the new location is up and running and ready to assist students, faculty and staff with their technological needs.
Those using the services will also see a new lab called vLab@everywhere. It consists of 12 virtual PCs, six Mac and six Dell PCs for access by the UIW community.
To access vLab@Everywhere, follow these instructions:
1. Navigate to http://vlab.uiwtx.edu
2. Log in using your UIW credentials (same as MyWord and email)
3. Click on the vLab@Everywhere icon
4. Allow system to load and begin your exploration of the Virtual Lab!
