The UIW Instructional Technology group is conducting a number of sessions over the summer on topics from Quality Matters (QM), software such as Photoshop and MS Office to the new Web conferencing option, Zoom.
The vendor engineering team has assessed the hardware failures and have created an action plan to implement a solution. Our team has successfully replaced one of the failed components and are able to begin rebuilding the data array.
Estimated time of completion of restoring the data array is currently 5:00pm - 6:00pm this evening. This ETA will be adjusted based on the findings as the work progresses.

AT&T will be conducting a fiber cut and splice beginning Friday, March 18, 2016 (8:00 AM to 10:00 AM).
All telephone and network lines at Brooks City Base building 125 will be disconnected from service for approximately two hours.

We have followed up with VMWare support and an engineer is still diagnosing and attempting to resolve the issue we are having with the host.
At this time, the issue is not interfering with normal operation of any VM. The issue is limited to the management of the VM’s through our management host.
