Special Honors Only Overnight Weekend
Sunday, October 25- Monday, October 26, 2009
Learn more about UIW’s Honors Program by getting up close and personal with honors students and faculty. There's no better way to know what the program has to offer than to get a taste for yourself.
- Spend the night on campus with current UIW honors students
- Meet honors faculty and members of the Honors Council
- Attend classes including at least one honors class; honors classes are held at 10:30-11:45am and at 12-1:15pm
- Talk to Study Abroad personnel
Tentative Schedule
- Check in at 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the Marian Hall Student Center.
- Sunday night: Reception, dinner and recreational activities
- Monday: Your student host will escort you to classes and show you the campus.
- Check out between 12:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday depending on classes.
Registration
Registration can be made online. There is no fee for qualified honors student candidates. We must receive your registration by Friday, October16 to secure your place. We are unable to accommodate late registrants or walk-ins.
If you are unable to attend the orientation after registering, please call 210-832-3211 or email jloden@uiwtx.edu as soon as possible so we can allow someone else to attend in your place. Space is limited!
