StockTrak and the H-E-B School of Business & Administration are combining efforts to give University of the Incarnate Word students the opportunity to showcase their financial knowhow. The fall 2016 UIW campus-wide investor challenge begins September 16, 2016, and ends December 2, 2016. Utilizing StockTrak's state-of-the-art portfolio simulation software, invest like a millionaire on any of the major stock markets. The software mirrors the actual markets across the world so you get hands on training without having to risk your money. Learn more about how stock markets work and what is needed to select winning investments. Training videos and face to face sessions will be provided so you can quickly master the ins and outs of trading.
Everyone can benefit by learning this useful skill. So why not have some fun and get an opportunity to win some real cash!
You do NOT have to be a business major to participate
Graduate students may participate, but are not eligible to win prize money.
Additional prizes and recognition to contest participants may be provided depending upon participation.
Prize money may be considered earned income, IRS taxes may apply. A social security number must be provided before prize check can be issued.
The H-E-B School of Business & Administration maintains the right to provide clarification of rules and/or modify them so goals and purposes of competition are maintained.

There is no registration deadline. While participants are encouraged to register before the start of the challenge, they are free to join anytime after the Sept. 16 start date and begin trading. All trading ends Dec. 6, so the earlier you get started, the better your chances are of winning the competition.
