DBA Ranked in Top 50 of Business Management Programs

(Dec. 10, 2015) - The Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) Program in the H-E-B School of Business & Administration has been recognized as a top 50 Doctorate in Business Management for 2016 by TMD, an independent guide to the best management degree programs in the U.S.

“With MBA Professional flooding the business world, an executive doctoral degree in business management helps business professional differentiate themselves from their peers,” explains the TMD website. The criteria used to rank programs consisted of accreditation standards, prestige, estimated costs, student satisfaction and curriculum.

Data for the rankings was gathered from US News and World Report, the Princeton Review and the National Center for Education Statistics.

The DBA degree is a 60-hour program including 51 classroom credit hours and a minimum of nine supervised dissertation or publication credit hours. Program components include online delivery, blended learning formats and short-term seminars at branch or sister school campuses.

The program intends to create practitioner-scholars who are able to make original contributions to the advancement of business research and practice.
