Costume Shop Supervisor
Lourdes grew up in Lima, Peru where she studied Fashion Design, graduating from Escuela
Diseno de Lima. After graduating, she left Lima to continue her studies in Theater and Arts in
Buenos Aires, Argentina. While there, she challenged herself by entering the 1 Bienal Buenos
Aires design contest and placed second in the overall competition.
After completing her studies in Argentina, she returned to Lima where she taught garment
construction, patternmaking and sewing techniques at Escuela Latinoamericana de la Moda.
During this time she also worked as a costume design assistant for several major productions
including Othello, King Lear and Faust.
In 2004 Lourdes came to United States and soon began her own business working as a
freelance costume designer in North Carolina. Her client list included Little Theater of Winston-
Salem, First in Flight Entertainment and others.
In August 2015 she relocated to San Antonio, Texas with her husband and two small daughters
