Golden Harvest 2009
The Student Government Association is once again hosting the University of the Incarnate Word’s Annual Golden Harvest Food Drive. Golden Harvest is now in its 23rd year of tradition. Over the past twenty three years, through combined efforts of campus organizations, offices/departments, generous sponsors and the Student Government Association, we have collected more than 45 tons of food. We appreciate your help to make this year’s Golden Harvest as successful as past years.
This year, Golden Harvest is scheduled for Saturday October 24th, 2009 from 9 A.M. until 3 P.M. All participants must report to Marian Ballroom no later than 9:15 A.M. for Check-In and Breakfast.
Your cooperation with the following guidelines will help complete registration quickly and easily:
- There must be at least eight members to constitute a team. (If your team does not have eight members, please contact Denise Hernandez, the SGA president at DDHernan@uiwtx.edu)
- One’s organization is responsible for the attendance of each volunteer. A fine of five dollars will be enforced for every volunteer that does not show up.
- Buses will leave between 9:45 A.M. and 10:45 A.M.
- Deadline for registration packets is October 9, 2009 by 5:00 P.M.
- Golden Harvest will take place RAIN OR SHINE!!!
