Giving & Memorial Opportunities for Athletics
At University of the Incarnate Word
While
maintaining excellence in academics, our student athletes compete in soccer,
baseball, softball, basketball, tennis, volleyball, and cross-country.
UIW also now has a women’s swimming team, which competes in the Ann
Barshop Natatorium, dedicated in 2001.
The women’s and men’s teams have competed in several national, post-season tournaments. UIW is also a member of NCAA Division II, a move that increases the university’s athletic standings and recognition at the national level. You can support Cardinal athletic programs through the Cardinal Athletic Round Table (which replaces the Booster Club). Your contribution will assist with equipment purchases, capital improvements, and recruitment expenses, and you can designate which sport(s) should benefit from your contribution.
