Collection: “Tropes from the Floating World”
A collection conceived as an interpretation of abstract concepts taken from a series
of Japanese erotic books. The theory was to create structures of lines, images and
ideas which can easily exist in the mind, separated from embodiment. This is the
journey through the composition of visuals and words behind the world of literature.
These elements provide qualities that give pleasure to the senses. The idea was
to create a world of contrast: male-female, ethereal-substantial. An irrational but
irresistible motive for a belief or action that leads to the tubular extension of real input
and enchants, enrapture and above all complete and utter intellectual arousal.
