Description:
My designs are wedding gowns with an hourglass silhouette for the modern woman. My inspiration was a photo of my parents’ wedding in which my mother is wearing a gorgeous, long-sleeved lace gown. Similarly, my gowns are constructed of satin, taffeta, lace, and chiffon with extensive netting and tulle. Long sleeves compliment all the gowns, and a select few are embellished with sequins, ruffles, and shirring. Sleeves are rare in current-day wedding gowns, so I wanted to incorporate them into my designs. The colors are different, with some black and red, to show the glamour color can bring to this occasion.
Ensembles:
- Light beige, satin taffeta fitted mermaid gown, with an open back
- White, chiffon fitted mermaid gown, with shirring, and a small back opening
- Form-fitting, mermaid gown with open back, in light beige satin with black chiffon trim
- Ivory satin and taffeta, form-fitting mermaid gown, with off-white lace
- Blood-red, mermaid gown with pearl chiffon ruffles and a V-shaped back opening
- Ivory satin, taffeta mermaid gown, with black sequined bands and a diamond-shaped back opening
- Blood-red, mermaid gown with shirred pearl, chiffon midriff, V-shaped back opening
- Ivory-colored gown, with black-sequined, diamond-shaped midriff, and long V-shaped back train
