What is the central theme or concept in your collection?

The use of color unifies the designs in my collection. Chocolate brown with contrasting bright colors of lime, forest green, and purple

How would you best describe your design style?

Feminine, elegant, and practical

How and when did you become interested in design?

I began sketching when I was 15 and it was then that I considered pursuing a career in fashion design. I love designing in general, but I chose to focus on designing clothes because there exist endless possibilities to be innovative.

What were your inspirations for this collection?

Silhouettes that flatter and accentuate femininity. Strapless, floor length evening dresses with varied necklines and skirts.

What fabrics will you be using?

Silk charmeuse and silk chiffon

What important details should be noticed?

The use of contrasting color, the yokes/trims, the pleating, the pleated godets, and the use of line.

What designer(s) do you admire or would most like to work with and why?

I admire the work of Oscar de la Renta, Carolina Herrera, Valentino, Vera Wang to name a few. I would be honored to work with such remarkable and highly respected individuals who continue to create beautiful, caliber work. Their work is very inspiring.

Other interests and hobbies?

Painting, sketching, traveling
