How many garments will be in your collection?

There will be eight garments.

What is the central theme or concept in your collection?

I will be presenting dresses that are targeted towards young women. The dresses will be mostly semi-formal, after five and evening attire.

How would you best describe your design style?

Feminine. Flirty, and fun.

How and when did you become interested in design?

I became interested at a very young age, I began by designing Barbie clothes and eventually began to design and construct clothes for my mother and my sisters. I also had the opportunity of designing and constructing my and my sister's prom dress.

What types of silhouettes will you be presenting?

Modern semi-fitted dresses, some with flowing skirts.

What was (were) your inspiration(s) for this collection?

I was mainly inspired by the fabric. I get my ideas by the look, feel and drape of the fabrics that I am working with.

What fabrics will you be using?

Satins, burnt-out velvet knits, and challis all in earth tone and neutral colors.

What important detail work should be noticed?

Beaded detail work. tucks, and trims.

What designer(s) do you admire, or would most like to work with and why?

I really admire Carolina Herrera because most of her looks are feminine, modern and with lots of class.

Describe yourself as a designer in five words or less.

Creative, fun. resourceful, and professional.

Other interests or hobbies?

Drawing, painting, reading, and spending time with family.
