What is the central theme or concept in your collection?
The central themes in my collection are the colors red, white, and black.
How would you best describe your design style?
My design style consists of simple lines with accents such as ribbon, beads, or fringe to add flare.
How and when did you become interested in design?
I became interested in design in junior high school when I discovered the flamboyant runway shows in the major fashion cities.
What types of silhouettes will you be presenting?
The silhouettes in my line are lean and fitted.
What was (were) your inspirations) for this collection?
There was no specific source for my inspiration.
What fabrics will you be using?
I am using a combination of fabrics such as linen-like cotton and polyester.
What important detail work should be noticed?
The detailing that should be noticed is the beading, which took a lot of time, and the fringe that was time-consuming to attach.
What designer(s) do you admire, or would most like to work with and why?
I would love to work with Betsy Johnson because she always seems like she is having a blast and that shows in her work.
Describe yourself as a designer in five words or less:
Simple ideas with unique accenting.
Other interests or hobbies:
Other than designing and sewing I like to ride horses and spend a lot of time with family and friends.
