How and when did you become interested in design? Ever since I
was little I’ve been making Barbie clothes and sketching dance
and prom dresses. My Mom taught me to sew when I was about 10 years
old. I didn’t really entertain the idea of majoring in Fashion
Design until my second year in college. It has, so far, proved a
wonderful decision.
What types of silhouettes will you be presenting? Slender, sleek,
and conservative. My styles are meant to be worn at work by women
who want to be noticed, not howled at. Pants, skirts, blouses, jackets,
and tops that intermix are key to my line.
What important details should be noticed? The hand beading and
the darts are the main details in my line. All beading is done one
bead at a time.
Interests or hobbies? I enjoy reading, family, and being an active
member of my church.
