Picture of DoyleOn behalf of the faculty, administration and staff of the University of the Incarnate Word, I extend my congratulations to you as you reach this significant milestone in your life. We share in your joy and are proud of what you have accomplished.

Through your dedication and hard work, you have achieved what many will only dream. We recognize that your journey has been long and may have been difficult. We are pleased to honor your accomplishments with a commencement ceremony that is both meaningful and exciting.
You have earned the right to be called an alum of the University of the Incarnate Word. You join the ranks of others who graduated from UIW and have become successful in their chosen professions. And like those who graduated before you, your degree is grounded in the heritage of our founding in 1881 by the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word.

The following document will provide you with the information you need to plan for this very important event. Pay particular attention to the times you are to gather for both the Baccalaureate Mass, which is optional, and the Processional for Commencement.

We encourage you to remain involved with UIW through the Office of Alumni Relations. We want to know when you conquer the Universe, so please share your achievements with us. Once again, congratulations! I look forward to seeing you at Commencement.
