February 22, 2018 (Thursday): National Collegiate Day of Prayer
3:30-4:30 PM (Special Collections Room, 2nd floor of the Mabee Library.) The last Thursday of February is set aside annually as the National Collegiate Day of Prayer. “Biblically and historically, united prayer has always been a means of grace to bridge the gap between a great need and a great awakening. Imagine what could happen if two of us prayed together? Or twenty prayed? Or two hundred? Or two million?” The Office of Mission and Ministry extends an invitation to administration, staff, parents, friends, and faculty to unite in prayer for our students at the University of the Incarnate Word and all other college campuses around the United States.
To mark this National Day of Prayer, Sister Eucharia, will share a reflection on prayer, different expressions of prayer and how prayer informs the lives of the Zimbabwe church. All are welcome!
The University of the Incarnate Word provides reasonable accommodation with adequate notice. To request disability accommodation for this event, visit http://www.uiw.edu/ada/
