Prayathon Schedule of Events

  >

See locations below.

In 2009, UIW held the first 24-Hour Prayathon, which was an immersion in prayer for a 24 hour period. The event was the brainchild of a UIW student as a way to call the community to prayer as we began our Lenten journey. Today, Prayathon has evolved into a multi-day event that engages people of different faiths and cultures, reminding us that we are all children of God.

We cordially invite you to begin our week-long celebration with Mass @ 10:30 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. in Our Lady’s Chapel on February 18th. A complete listing of events for the week can be found below. Please join us as we begin a week of events and fellowship which will inspire, uplift, inform, and transform your life as we begin this season of Lent.

Or twenty prayed? Or two hundred? Or two million?”   The Office of Mission and Ministry extends an invitation to administration, staff, parents, friends, and faculty to unite in prayer for our students at the University of the Incarnate Word and all other college campuses around the United States.
