Do you eat dinner every night?
Now, how often do you do it in complete darkness? Here's your chance!
SVOSH (Student Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity) and AOSA (American Optometric Student Association) present Dining in the Dark on October 5th 2017. Dining in the Dark is a unique sensory awareness experience that gives guests a first-hand glimpse into the lives of those who are completely blind, taking them on a journey into the dark. Wait, there's so much more!
The night will begin at 6:30 pm and will be filled with fun opportunities for some cool prizes! There will be both a silent & live auction, entertainment, raffle prizes, photo booth, and, of course, dinner will be served.
What kind of cool prizes, you may ask? Well, our event has previously featured auction items such as iPads, designer sunglasses, Volk lenses and much more!
Raffle tickets will be sold at the event. All proceeds from this event go to World Sight Day - Optometry Giving Sight. Please RSVP and join us for a night of tricks, treats, mysteries, and adventure all while giving to a great cause. This event is open to students, faculty, and the general public and is located at 9725 Datapoint Dr, San Antonio, TX 78229- The Rosenberg School of Optometry. Bring the whole gang! Feel free to wear your Halloween costumes, if you've got them!
See you there!
