BUILDINGS & ENROLLMENT
UIW: New Business and Education Building and the high rise building
adjacent to the Grossman Center [parking, student residences, Bookstore
and Banquet Hall] will be open this fall. Formal dedication of the high
rise will be on October 24, 2002.
The university met the requirements of the challenge grant from the JE and LE Mabee Foundation of Oklahoma, but an additional $2.7 million still needs to be raised to complete the Science and Engineering project.
Fall registration and orientation is still underway, but it appears that the university will have a record number of new students and a higher overall enrollment. Enrollment continues to build in the Adult Degree Completion Program and the Virtual University online.

part of the Phonathon for the 2003 Annual Fund. The calling continues
until April, 2003. The annual fund helps support the operations of the
university for the Fiscal year, but the majority of the donations are
for student and instructional support. You may receive more information
