Graduate Admission Procedure:
When the Office of Admissions receives the required credentials, they are then submitted to the program director for evaluation and recommendation for a decision. The Dean of Graduate Studies and Research will notify the applicant via mail regarding the action taken upon the application. Upon acceptance, the student is assigned to a program advisor.
Credentials submitted for admission become the sole property of the University of the Incarnate Word and will not be returned under any circumstances. Students who have not begun graduate studies within a year of acceptance must re-apply through the Office of Admissions for the reactivation of their application and readmission.
The University of the Incarnate Word reserves the right to refuse admission to an applicant or to request the withdrawal of a student enrolled in a program for purposes deemed adequate by the Dean of Graduate Studies and Research.
