UIW Student Ambassador Organization

Student Ambassadors assist the Office of Admissions in recruitment, retention,
and orientation of new students. They foster a sense of community among
students and visitors and act as official representatives of UIW. As Ambassadors,
students gain valuable leadership skills, develop pride in the university,
and meet new people.
The Student Ambassadors are a carefully selected group of UIW students
who not only exemplify the university's mission but also excel both inside
and outside the classroom. Some of the duties of these outstanding individuals
include the following:
- Assist new students with the transition to college
- Participate in fall & spring open house
- Visit high schools
- Lead campus tours
- Host Crusader Night (overnighter for prospective students)
- Represent the university at official functions such as graduation
and "Light the Way
- Attend
