The University of the Incarnate Word will present the 22nd Annual Cutting Edge Fiesta Fashion Show at 12 p.m. on April 22 in the Alice P. McDermott Convocation Center.

The high level, New York-style runway presentation is produced entirely by students and they direct all stage and set design, model casting, lighting, sound, video, and photography.

Every year, the garments showcased are all designed and constructed by the university’s promising fashion students. This year, eleven aspiring designers will present the culmination of four years of hard work at the university.

A luncheon will precede the show at 11:30 a.m. and doors will open at 11 a.m. The luncheon is sold out; "Show only" tickets are available on the day of the show for $10 for adults, and $5 for students and seniors.

The Cutting Edge fashion show is sanctioned by the Fiesta San Antonio Commission as an official Fiesta event and enjoys the support of the Commission. This year, the Mistress of Ceremonies will be Ursula Pari, of KSAT 12.
